Curate.A.Space has been running professional practice workshops for the past seven years. These have been attended by hundreds of participants from universities, community arts centers, South African Museums Association members, individuals, art and book groups and professional artists. 

They have taken place in Pretoria, Johannesburg, Zululand, Pietermaritzburg, Cape Town, and KZN Midlands. The course has been popular over the years with new materials constantly being developed in order to keep in line with current trends in exhibiting and marketing art. The course can be tailored to specific groups and is generally held on a 3 to 5 day period.
 

Carol Brown and guest presenters share their experiences in setting up exhibitions and update participants on the latest trends contemporary art themes and concepts, finding exhibition spaces, displaying artworks and hands-on training in installing exhibitions.
