The French/ South African seasons was a multi-faceted collaboration between the two countries. In 2012 South Africa hosted the first leg of the season and in 2013 France welcomed South African artists, performers, and writer. Over 150 projects across 100 cities in France were organized by South Africa. Carol was appointed as the visual art expert for south Africa and she organized the exhibitions in France. 

The Angel's Place performance was held in the precinct of the Durban City Hall as the closure of the French season in South Africa. It was one of the spectacular night Durban has ever seen.
