The A.R.T. Show

An international project of Make Art/Stop Aids
Co-curated with Prof. David Gere, UCLA (project leader of Make Art/Stop Aids) - Part of a series of exhibitions (From 2001-2016) to do with HIV/AIDS

The first iteration was Make Art/Stop Aids an international exhibition which was instigated by the Fowler Museum and the Centre for Global Health UCLA. This exhibition focuses on the relationship between science and art, from the perspective of HIV/AIDS treatment.
Artists were monitored during production and the exhibition was designed and curated in South Africa.


The exhibition has been shown at the Tatham Art Gallery (Pietermaritzburg), The KZNSA Gallery (Durban), Michaelis Gallery (Cape Town), Museum Africa (Johannesburg), Smithsonian Museum (Washington DC) and World Aids Conference in Washington DC.
